Privacy and Restrictions on Use of Our Site:

Globalnitrogenservices.com (“Site”) is an internet property of Global Nitrogen Services, its subsidiary or affiliate (“GNS,” “we,” “us”). Your privacy is important to us. In this statement we explain our online information practices and the choices you can make about the way your information is collected and used.

Please note that this Privacy Policy does not apply to you if you are an employee or contractor of GNS who is using this Site. Please consult the employee handbook for details on acceptable use of GNS’s computer equipment, including its servers.

The Information We Collect:

This statement applies to all information collected or submitted on this Site. We do not accept credit card or bank account information through this Site but may use a third party provider for such services. We do collect information on the forms that you complete in connection with responses to employment solicitations or other invitations to seminars or similar activities, or if you make an inquiry about our goods or services.

The variety of personal information we collect include:

  • First and last name
  • Address
  • Email address
  • Phone number(s)
  • Age and/or date of birth if requested
  • Any other personal information the user submits during the course of correspondence with us concerning employment opportunities, seminars or similar activities, or inquiries about goods or services

We also collect non-personally identifiable information. Non-personally identifiable information is information collected in the normal course of operating our business that does not reveal the specific identity of the user. This data records activity either on this Site or within Site-initiated email. The types of non-personally identifiable information collected include:

  • Information about a site from which you reached our Site, such as a search engine page
  • The time spent viewing particular pages of our Site
  • Whether you clicked on a link we provided on our Site

When you access our Site via the internet, our servers automatically record certain information in a server log. Our Site’s servers automatically identify your computer by its IP address. IP addresses are automatically logged by web servers, collecting information about a user’s traffic patterns. Finally, the other websites that you visit have IP addresses, and we may collect the IP addresses of those websites and their pages, as well.

Part of our data collection process may involve the use of “cookies”, which are small pieces of identifying information placed and stored on your computer by our server which enable our system to more readily recognize you when you visit. Please note, however, that your information will not be considered subject to any obligation of confidentiality. You agree that any ideas, material, or content submitted on or through this Site becomes the sole property of GNS, and GNS has no obligation of confidentiality nor are we responsible for any claims of infringement or misappropriation that may result from any submission. We may disclose your information to any person, specifically to any governmental agency, without notice, if we in good faith believe that such is required in order to comply with law, to protect GNS interests including this Site, and in response to any emergency situation.

We do not endorse, nor are we liable for the accuracy of, the privacy policies and/or terms and conditions of any third parties, including without limitation, those to which we provide links on our Site, including those of our service providers. You should read the privacy policies of such third party websites to make sure that you agree to their terms before using such websites.

Protection of Your Personal Information:

We endeavor to safeguard and protect our users’ information. We have security measures in place to protect against the loss, misuse, and alteration of personal information under our control, and we follow generally accepted industry standards to protect the personal information submitted to us. Therefore, while we strive to use commercially acceptable means to protect your personal information, we cannot guarantee its absolute security.
